The real story is that considering the past debates, ABC's was nothing new, except that it was broadcast on the airwaves, not just on cable.
So... I will conclude that it was a success,
given d'meaning of the medium.
Obama took the high road, and shone as best he could on the road, while Hillary took the old road, and may be shone the road.
